Classifieds at Adams Street Publishing consist of the following types
- Online Classifieds that may be submitted through our secure submission form
- TCP weekly print-edition Classifieds
- TAP and A2 monthly print-edition Classifieds
TCP Weekly Print-Edition
- Free Classifieds: Individuals may receive one free 20-word ad per week (products offered in ads must sell for under $250). Each additional word costs $0.40 and payment must accompany ad. Free ads run 3 weeks and are reserved for private parties' use, noncommercial concerns and free services. Ads must be typed or neatly printed and mailed, emailed, faxed or dropped off to Toledo City Paper Classifieds by noon on Friday prior to publication. No phone calls please.
- Jam Section: Ads from local musicians are free! Advertise for band members, selling instruments under $250 or just to jam! Noncommercial ads only! These ads will run for 3-week intervals and must be renewed after the third week. Business related ads (i.e. Lessons, Gig Finder Rehearsal Places) run for $5 a week. Limit 20 words for any ad; $0.40 per additional word.
- Display Classifieds: Display classifieds with a box may be purchased for $25 per column inch. Photos are accepted with advertisements for an additional $5 per photo.
- Real Estate: Line ads are $10 per week, and include a photo and 20 words of text.
- Line Classifieds: Receive up to 12 weeks of advertising to sell your general merchandise items (cars included) for only $10. These ads are limited to 20 words or less, each additional word is $.40. Non-commercial advertisers only. Ads must be pre-paid with Visa/MasterCard. Non-refundable once ad is placed. Any artwork will be $5 extra.

- Deadlines: Ad copy must be received on Friday by noon for the following week's issue.
- Payment: Payment must be received before an ad can be placed. We accept cash, check, money order and credit cards (Visa/Mastercard).
- Refunds: Sorry, no refunds given.
- Misprints: Credit toward future ads.
TAP and A2 Monthly Print-Edition
- We offer a 5% discount for contracts that are paid in full (display advertisers only).
- Proofs: One complimentary proof of an ad will be faxed to the advertiser. Additional changes will be billed at $45 per hour in 15 minute increments.
- Inserts: $65 per thousand (minimum of 5,000) based on an 8 1/2 x 11 size and are limited on a first-come, first-serve basis. Other sizes and quantity quotes will be supplied upon request.
- Color: Spot color $170, Full color $350.

- Payment: Payment is required prior to press for new advertisers until credit is approved.
- Cancellations: Space cancellation on contract ads must be made 30 days prior to publication in writing. All contracts not cancelled 30 days prior to completion will be charged full rate.
- Deadlines: Space reservation deadline is the 15th prior to publication for TAP. All camera-ready artwork is due by the 15th prior to publication. There will be a 5% late fee for artwork that is received after noon on Friday and placement is no longer guaranteed and will be billed accordingly.
- Baby Steps: Space and artwork for our yearly publication of Baby Steps is required by June 15 of the current year.
Online Classifieds
You may submit your ad by filling our secure online ad submission form. This is the best way to ensure the accuracy of your ad.
